- Does the YotaLeds.com LED Wiring Harness kit require any electrical knowledge to install?
Our kits are designed for the easiest possible install. Lighting installs can be intimidating. Our plug-and-play harness does not require you to cut into your car’s wire harness, tap any wires, or anything else that could cause damage or void your warranty. Our full-insulated and professionally built wiring harness may be the easiest after-market mod you can install on your 4Runner!
- How are the LEDs powered?
There are a few different ways that you can install your Yota Leds on to your vehicle. We use an add-a-fuse circuit that comes with the harness that allows you to choose what fuse to tap into for power. If you'd like the lights to be on at all times (with ignition of your vehicle) we suggest using the INJ fuse. You can also use the 10-amp headlight fuse so that the lights turn on with the headlights. Lastly, if you'd like them to turn on with your DLR you are able to splice the harness to do so.
- How do I know which kit I need?
This will depend on your grill style of your vehicle. All of our kits are made to fit the specific vehicle they are designed for. Brackets are custom made to fit in the specific slot of each vehicle, and the wire and harness length is also customized per vehicle for a perfect and original installation.
- How long will the LEDs last?
Our kit is made from high-quality LEDs. LED lights are known for being extremely long-lasting products, with many of their LEDs having a rated life of up to 50,000 hours! Using an LED 12 hours a day, a 50,000 bulb will last you more than 11 years. Used 8 hours a day, a 50,000-hour bulb can last 17 years!
